Voices 4 Ability Radio is a Canadian internet radio station that is written, hosted, and produced by individuals with disabilities, their caregivers and supporters. The station provides a platform for voices that are often unheard, highlighting organizations, resources, and information relevant to the disability community. At the end of July, Creating Alternatives was interviewed by Voices 4 Ability Radio for their Community Program feature which was aired on their YouTube Channel V4AStudios on September 8th, at 11am, 3pm, and 7pm. The edited interview lasted for about 20 minutes and discussed Creating Alternatives’ program offerings, CA’s role within the community and sector, and its advocacy efforts for individuals with diverse abilities. CA highlighted the continued need within the sector for community support services and the lack of resources and support for aging caregivers.
